Colorful and fun to study, this map is from Rudimentum Novitiorum, originally published in Germany in 1475. This is believed to be the earliest published map of the world as known at that time, but it also includes some fanciful mythological and Biblical locations as well.  This map is part of the original Milestones of Science collection of 197 books.
